A car spoiler is a component mounted on the rear lid of a car that resembles the rear wing of an inverted aircraft. Some cars are fitted with a front spoiler, commonly known as an air dam. Some cars are equipped with side skirts, which are also a type of spoiler. The rear spoiler is actually also known as the “rear wing”. On the one hand, it adds dynamism to the car’s appearance; on the other hand, its more important role is to effectively reduce the air resistance generated by the vehicle at high speeds, which not only saves fuel, but also improves the stability of the vehicle.
